It’s actually a little bit easier to teach a child or beginner how to knit than crochet. With knitting, all you have to do is wrap the yarn around the needle once and pull it through the loop on the other end of the needle – it’s very simple and easy to understand.

Crochet is a little more complicated because you have to wrap the yarn around your hook multiple times before pulling it through the loop, which can be confusing for beginners. However, with a little practice, anyone can learn how to crochet!
