Red velvet cake pops

Who doesn’t love red velvet cake? Surprise your loved ones with this Valentine’s day special sweet treat and watch their eyes light up with happiness!


Ingredients:

3 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp Oil
¼ cup condensed milk
⅓  cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 ¼  cup refined flour
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp vinegar
¼  tsp red food colouring
¼ cup crumbled paneer
2 tbsp fresh cream
¼ tsp salt
150 g white chocolate

Method:

Pre-heat your oven/kadhai/cooker and line your mould with parchment paper.

Beat together butter,oil and sugar. Add the condensed milk and beat again.

Sieve in the maida,baking powder,salt and cocoa powder.

Add buttermilk in batches and mix till you attain a ribbon-like consistency. Add the food colouring and mix.

Mix baking soda with vinegar and mix it in the batter.

Bake immediately in a pre-heated kadhai for 25-30 mins or in an oven at 180 degree Celsius for 25-30 mins till done. Remove and let it cool.Once it cools down, crumble it using a mixie jar.

Prepare the cream cheese frosting in the meanwhile. Grind together paneer, cream and salt in a mixie until smooth.

Mix in the frosting with the cake and make small spheres of it.

Melt white chocolate. Dip the cake truffles in the white chocolate, add sprinkles on it and let it set.

Decorate as desired and surprise your loved ones !
